Resources for schools

The Close the Gap campaign has been running for six years, generating enormous support from the Australian community – including many students, teachers and school communities around the country. Last year, we introduced a National Close the Gap Day (NCTGD) student kit to help more Australian schools get involved and be a part of this national event.

The student kit is designed for all age levels and encourages students to become actively involved in planning and running their own NCTGD event. We’ve also provided materials to help teachers incorporate Close the Gap themes into their classroom activities prior to and after the day.
