The countdown begins: 6 days until launch

By Clancy Moore, GROW Campaign Coordinator

On Wednesday 2 October we will launch the next phase of Behind the Brands. The details of this are top-secret until launch, but this exclusive teaser video made by one of our Design for Change volunteers gives you a sneak preview of the campaign to come.

Sign up now to be the first to hear about the campaign. And read on to find out more about Behind the Brands.

Behind the Brands: The story so far

Since launching in February 2013, Behind the Brands has mobilised more than 120,000 people to call on the Big 10 food and beverage companies to improve the way they do business.

When you asked the world’s three largest chocolate companies to do right by the women who grow their cocoa, Mars, Mondelez and Nestlé listened and committed to make sure that the women cocoa farmers in their supply chains are respected.

The successes achieved so far would not have been possible without the power of you! Your actions have made the companies sit up and take notice, and to start making positive changes in the food system.

The next chapter

But the story doesn’t end there. The campaign now shifts to sugar, an essential ingredient in many of our favourite brands. The Big 10 buy and produce huge amounts of sugar – but have you ever wondered where this sugar comes from?

All will be revealed on 2 October

You have the power to create a sweeter future. Sign up now be the first to find out which of the Big 10 companies we’re targeting – and why.
